Producer
Job Description:
As Producer, you will work closely with our internal Development Team to monitor and facilitate their activities, ensure timely delivery with the appropriate and expected level of quality, implement and update processes, tools and workflows to aid the team's daily activities and needs. Together with that, you will maintain direct communication with our Clients, partaking in meetings to gather feedback, determine future deadlines and ensure previous requests were delivered within their expectations.
2D Artist Responsibilities:
1. Accompany the day-to-day work of multiple core features of game development, within different disciplines handling tasks for different projects/clients.
2. Implement processes and pipelines to streamline development to each given discipline, aiming to increase productivity and final overall quality of the team's delivery.
3. Apply training material and strategies to help create new set of skills to the team members, or to guide them into improving themselves.
4. Review the team's daily progress, accompanying results within the software/tools used by each discipline.
5. Create and maintain strategies, roadmaps, and schedules to keep up with Clients' deadlines
6. Attend meetings with the Clients to organize tasks and requests, prioritize deliveries, and plan for future requests to fit the size of the development team.
7. Have daily meetings with the development team to streamline production and define daily goals to reach clients' expectations, providing the team with feedback from previous deliveries.
8. Create and monitor tasks using the appropriate tools, accompanying production closely to determine when/if changes are needed on the workflows established before.
9. Mediate cross-discipline situations focusing on delivery within the team and the projects as a whole.
10. Guide the production team in gathering information, videos, and documentation on titles being worked on.
11. Create and evaluate key performance indicators, applying them to the team to keep performance under control and to report it back to Management, or use it to provide feedback to the team members.
12. Provide daily reports on tasks and issues to Management and Clients.
13. Work together with Clients' Development Teams to reach goals together, mediating communication between both teams.
14. Together with Management, work on assessing risks, raising issues associated with the responsibilities immediately, and planning on fixes where possible.
15. Work as a mediator for communication between the Development Team and Management & Human Resources, helping direct the flow of communication to fit everyone's needs.
Requirements:
1. 2+ Years of experience in a job position as a Producer or equivalent.
2. Ability to track, review and provide feedback on your team's productivity in a clear and constructive manner.
3. Strong interest in game development and curiosity for the game industry.
4. Hands-on and natural troubleshooter personality. You are not afraid to get matters resolved for the best with all parties involved in a calm and organized way.
5. Organized and capable of adapting to a high-pressure and fast-paced environment taking accountability for your various teams at once.
6. Strong knowledge of game development software in all disciplines (2D Art, 3D Art, Programming, Video Editing, Sound Design).
7. Ability to create metrics and evaluate performance across different kinds of tasking.
8. Work with management to drive Development operational reviews by reporting key metrics and critical risks/mitigation.
9. Work with management to foresee and identify risks as well as mitigation plans and improvements for the teams.
10. Ability to communicate with both internal and external teams, Clients, and a multicultural environment.
Nice to Have:
1. Past experience drafting teams together to better use their individual skills.
2. Experience training teams to both provide new set of skills or to improve the ones already set.
3. Past experience in confection of training materials such as documentation, presentations, reports and performance trackers for various teams on different development stages of a project.
4. Ability to Identify and mentor potential new talents.
5. Great knowledge of First Party (Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, Apple, etc) terminology and Certification guidelines.
